Curtis John

Curtis John is Vice President of Client Engagement at RampRate. In this position, he oversees all aspects of delivery of client services and manages links between Sales and Client Delivery. His mission at RampRate is to support the Sales Team by providing real-world experience with Client Delivery while supporting Delivery Teams by providing realistic goals and objectives from business, technical and tactical perspectives. In addition, Curtis functions as Client Executive for all projects at RampRate.
Curtis joined RampRate after more than twenty-seven years in the IT industry, having started out as a software analyst and moving into more consultative roles throughout his career.
Most recently he was a Service Delivery Executive for Electronic Data Systems (EDS), where he held various leadership roles in their delivery organization.
Prior to that, Curtis was Director of Infrastructure for PMI Mortgage Insurance where, along with day-to-day delivery of IT infrastructure-related services, he designed and managed build-out of the company’s Tier III Production Data Center Facility.
During the mid 90’s, Curtis co-founded and operated Infrastructure Planning Services (IPS), an independent consultancy focused on Web Presence Strategies and Tactics for Media and Entertainment and Financial Verticals. Prior to IPS, he was National Director – Communications Practice at Price Waterhouse. In addition to Financial and Media & Entertainment industries, Curtis has experience with Manufacturing, Health Care, and Retail verticals.
Curtis earned his bachelor’s degrees in Biology and Computer Science from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and currently resides in Northern California.
